Identifying the Assisted Housing and the Applicable Laws and Regulations in Your Service Area

These materials will help you find and use the available databases to information needed to determine what regulations apply to particular developments and programs, and what financing programs are involved.  This information can often be used with readily available census data and other databases to develop specific demographic profiles (including race, presence of children, etc.) that can help you monitor for fair housing violations or just to develop local housing strategies.  Combining this data with GIS mapping programs can help you evaluate housing needs and litigation issues in your community.
