2011 Child Care Development Fund Allocations

This year’s New York State budget cut $42 million dollars from the New York State Child Care Block Grant (NYSCCBG). The Office of Children and Family Services (“OCFS”) distributes the NYSCCBG child care subsidy funding to the local social services districts. The budget cuts required OCFS to reduce funding to 44 of 58 local social services districts for the 2011-2012 fiscal year. The attached chart provides a complete county-by-county analysis.
