Co-Payment Disparities by County for a Family of Three With an Income of $37,060/year (200% of poverty)

In Cattaraugus, Livingston, Oswego, Otsego and Steuben  counties parents pay 10% of their income over the poverty level for a child care subsidy this means they pay $1853 per year or $35.63 per week (5% of their income)
In Westchester County parents pay 15% of their income over the poverty level for a child care subsidy  this means they pay $2779 per year, or $53.44 per week (7.5% of their income)
In Allegany, Cayuga, Clinton, Columbia, Essex,Fulton, Nassau, Niagara, Ontario, Putnam, Saratoga, and Tompkins counties parents pay 20% of their income over the poverty level for a child care subsidy
 
this means they pay $3706 per year, or $71.26 per week (10% of their income)
In Albany, Delaware, Hamilton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Orleans, Rensselaer, Rockland, Schuyler, St. Lawrence, Ulster, Warren, Washington and Wayne counties parents pay 25% of their income over the poverty level for a child care subsidy  this means they pay $4632 per year, or $89 per week (12.4% of their income)

In Suffolk, Dutchess and Chautauqua counties

parents pay 30% of their income over the poverty level for a child care subsidy

this means they pay $5559 per year, or $106.90 per week (15% of their income)  

In Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Erie, Franklin, Genesee, Greene, Monroe, Montgomery, New York City, Orange, Schenectady, Schohaire, Seneca, Sullivan, Tioga, Wyoming and Yates counties parents pay 35% of their income over the poverty level for a child care subsidy this means they pay $6486 per year, or $124.72 per week (17.5% of their income)
