Staff Attorney

Katherine E. Courtney is a staff attorney with the Disability Advocacy Progarm (DAP) Unit in Empire Justice Center’s Rochester office.

Her work focuses on Supplemental Security Income disability issues.

Katie has a background in education law that is helpful in childhood disability claims.  She has done presentations for the Western New York DAP Task Force and regularly represents clients before the Social Security Administration.

Katie is a graduate of Niagara University and the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. She is admitted to practice in New York (2007).
